ASTENDERS | BBC1 M
he Mitchell boys
are back in action
this week – but
it’s Grant and his
secret son, Mark
Fowler Jnr, who emerge as
the new double act when
they team up and embark upon
a dangerous rescue mission!
It all kicks off in Albert
Square after Ben and Jay
are abducted by the gang
responsible for Paul Coker’s
brutal murder. As the boys
are bundled into a van, it’s
a race against time to bring
them home alive. But is this
one war that the Mitchell family
have no hope of winning?
“Paul’s killers are clearly
very dangerous people,” warns
our EastEnders insider. “They
already have blood on their
hands, so there isn’t anything
to stop them from doing
away with Ben and Jay, too.”
Phil and Grant are no
strangers to perilous situations,
but the stakes are always
higher when it’s their own
loved ones on the line.
It’s panic stations for
the Mitchells following

SECRET IS JUST
With that, protective dad
Phil doesn’t think twice about
setting off in pursuit of Ben,
and tools himself up with a
baseball bat. But given that
Phil is currently on the waiting
list for a liver transplant, his
wise niece Courtney figures
that he’ll need some backup
– and makes a desperate
phone call to her dad Grant.
“It’s the moment EastEnders
fans have been waiting for,
as Grant joins Phil to kick
some butt,” enthuses our
snoop. “They’re not the spring
chickens they used to be,
though, so we can certainly
forgive them both for being
a bit on the rusty side!”
Unfortunately, that’s the
understatement of the year
where poorly Phil is concerned.
Just as the brothers have
persuaded ex-copper Jack to
source an address for Paul’s
killers, Grant’s older sibling
doubles over in pain and
collapses in the backyard!
He is clearly in no fit
state to go chasing after the
bad guys, leaving Grant as
Ben and Jay’s only hope of
survival. But given the terrible
animosity between Grant and
Phil at present, what’s to stop
the bitter brute from turning
his back on his brother?
“Grant has never walked
away from a fight in his life!”
our snitch reminds us. “And
ultimately, the Mitchells are
still all about ‘faaammmily’.
The boys will always have
each other’s backs, no
matter what has gone on
between them in the past.”
While hulking Grant is
more than capable of looking
after himself, he could still
do with a capable wingman.
But in a shock twist, it’s
Mark Jnr who jumps in the
car beside him – ready for a
rumble! Will this be the hotly
anticipated moment where
the two men finally realise
that they are father and son?
“Grant has no reason to
suspect a thing, as he doesn’t
know this child of his even
exists,” says our snoop. “But
with the pair in such close
proximity, it’s a big secret
that’s just waiting to explode!”
As the pair head off together,
Ian and Sharon – who do know
the truth about Mark’s paternity
– desperately try to keep the
information under wraps.
But with a potentially deadly
situation awaiting them, will
Grant and Mark live to find
out? And what does fate have
in store for Phil, Ben and Jay?
One thing is for certain –
this is one action-packed week
for the Mitchells that you’re
not going to want to miss…
Could he be persuaded to stick around in Walford?

Nick orders Steve to leave - or
he’ll tell Michelle everything…
here’s a showdown
between Steve and
Nick this week, in
the wake of Leanne
confessing to Nick that Steve
is the father of her unborn baby.
When Nick goes AWOL after
Leanne’s emotional admission,
she’s terrified about what he’ll
do next. And her fears seem
well-founded, as Nick drags
Steve out of the Rovers and
lays down the law: either Steve
leaves the Street for good, or
Michelle finds out that Leanne
is expecting his child!
“This is not an empty threat,”
insists Ben Price, who plays
Nick. “He wants to find out
what Steve’s intentions are, and
when Nick discovers that Steve
has no interest in Leanne or the
baby, he has to make sure that
Steve will have no interest in
them for the rest of his life. He
wants Steve to go away and
be scared about ever bringing
up the child. Nick thinks that’s
the solution to the problem.”
Steve is understandably
horrified when Nick drives him
to a random area of wasteland
to demand some answers – and
Leanne is equally concerned
when she arrives at the pub and
SCARE STEVE HE’S HAPPY TO
is told by oblivious Michelle that
the two blokes have gone off
together. But as Nick stands
over Steve to type out a text to
Michelle telling her everything,
and threatens to press ‘send’
unless Steve agrees to go, the
pressure is on for the landlord.
“Nick’s plan is to scare Steve,
and he’s quite happy to tell
Michelle the truth!” claims Ben.
“This is the difference in Nick
now – he’s
with his brain injury and all the
Steve and Nick adversaries after so
long on the cobbles
trouble with his brother, David.
He’s changed so much that
he hasn’t got much to lose.
“Robert has part of Nick’s
business, and Carla has wrecked
his life – so Nick is thinking,
‘Well Steve, if you push me to
the edge, then you’ll get it!’”
Seemingly not convinced
that Nick will do as he says,
Steve refuses to do as he is
ordered, pointing out that his
whole life is in Weatherfield,
and he can’t possibly leave it
behind. So when Nick proceeds
to send his truth-telling text
to Michelle, Steve is stunned.
“Nick is going
Nick told Leanne he’ll take care
of her baby as if it’s his own.
However, even if the news is out
about Steve, can Nick really
raise a child who isn’t his?
“Nick loves Leanne and he
will love the child, but whether
he can cope with bringing it up
is a big question that he’s going
to struggle with,” admits Ben.
“He knows he wants to be with
Leanne and wants to look after
her, but I don’t think he has the
whole situation sorted in his
mind. That said, Nick does have
a relationship with Simon, who
is Peter Barlow’s son – and Nick
hates Peter! So he has it in him,
but it may be a sticking point…”
“Nick was fine when he
thought Leanne’s babydaddy
was just some random person
whom he’ll never know,” sighs
Ben. “He just can’t believe that
it’s Steve, because it makes the
whole situation so complicated.
Nick has known Steve for most
of his life, and he lives across
the road – so this revelation
really has changed everything.
“Steve keeps insisting he
doesn’t want to be involved
with the baby – but who knows
where they’ll be in a few years?
Nick has to make sure Steve
won’t change his mind!”
Back in the Rovers, it’s
Leanne who first notices
that Michelle has received a
text from Nick, after Steve’s
missus leaves her phone
unattended. Leanne quicky
shoves the phone into her
pocket – although she’s
forced to hand it back to
Michelle when it starts
ringing. Helpless Leanne
can do nothing but stand
there as Michelle begins
to read the incriminating
message – so is all hell
about to break loose?

After Dan and Nicola’s
secret snog is exposed,
she has her revenge…
erry gets her own
back on cheating
partner Dan this
week – by bedding
village bad boy Ross!
After Dan and Nicola’s snog
is revealed by Jimmy’s son
Elliot, they’re soon facing the
fury of their respective other
halves. But when Kerry goes on
to fall into Ross’ questionable
clutches, has Dan paid a terrible
price for his indiscretion?
“All Dan wants is Kerry –
so if he found out she’d been
with Ross, he’d be mortified,”
admits Liam Fox, who plays
Dan. “He’s gutted that she
knows about Nicola, and he
feels so stupid. He was hoping
against hope that it’d all blow
over, but instead it turns into
a big problem for all of them.”
After Elliot spots Dan and
Nicola together, the pair try to
throw him off the scent, with
Nicola lying that she and Dan
were practising mouth-to-mouth
resuscitation for his paramedic
course! Sadly for the lovecheats, there are no flies on this
young lad – and when he goes
on to blow their saucy secret
in the café, it’s not pretty…
“Dan is a desperate man at
this point – he even tells Kerry
that Nicola made a pass at
him!” shares Liam. “He’s trying
to take the pressure off, so then
he starts blaming Kerry by
insisting she’s not shown much
interest in him lately. But deep
down, he blames himself more
than anything, and knows there’s
no excuse for what he’s done.”
On hearing her man’s lame
justifications, Kerry is straight
round to Nicola’s to slap
her! However, even fuming
Kerry realises that Nicola’s
disability doesn’t make it a
fair fight, so she stops short
of following the slap with a
punch. Instead, she turns
her attention to Jimmy –
planting a kiss on him!
“Kerry is Kerry, so
you’d expect nothing
less,” sighs Liam. “Dan’s
already embarrassed, so
when Kerry tries kissing
Jimmy, he sees it as
a wind-up rather than
revenge. To a certain extent
he’s like, ‘For God’s sake, just
get it out of your system’!”
Unfortunately, Kerry doesn’t
stop with Jimmy. After he deftly
dodges her advances, she
storms off and demands that
taxi driver Ross take her into
town – and ends up kissing
him, too! This time, though –
thanks to Ross’ bet with Pete
KERRY TO JUST
GET IT OUT OF
Two sneaky snoggers and
two very angry partners
make for café conflict
over which Barton will cop
off with a cab customer first –
one thing leads to another…
The morning after, Kerry
is so mortified by what she’s
done that she asks Dan for
another chance. But surely
it won’t be long before her
sordid secret slips out?
“Dan is really pleased when
Kerry says she wants to make
another go of things,” insists
Liam. “But knowing she’s been
with Ross would be the ultimate
betrayal. What Kerry’s done is
altogether different from Dan’s
little snog with Nicola – she’s
slept with Ross. Which means
there’ll be a rocky road ahead!”
Kerry thinks Nicola
is a right old slapper
Back to bad?
WITHOUT DAN, WOULD KERRY
Now Kerry has become a Dales
favourite, it’s easy to forget that
she was once a distinctly bad
girl. So if her and Dan are over,
will she go off the rails again?
A terrible mum to daughter
Amy, Kerry had a disastrous
fling with Andy which came to
an end after she accidentally set
fire to his house while babysitting
his kids! Upon discovering Amy
and Andy had got together, she
faked a pregnancy – and later
joined Brenda on a shoplifting
spree. Even after she fell for Dan,
Kerry couldn’t help pretending
she was dying to secure a free
wedding, and was revealed as
a bigamist on the big day!
While Kerry is still fond of a
drink, being with Dan seems to
have tamed her. But is she now
set to revisit the bad old days?

With two kids to think about,

Paul’s death has driven a
stake through the hearts
of his grandparents…
…and Pam can’t believe
that Les seems to be treating
it like any other funeral
EASTENDERS | BBC1 Thursday
THE COKERS SA
GOODBYE TO PA
It’sadevastatingday forshattered Pam and Les…
he Cokers face
the toughest day
of their lives this
week – as they bury
their beloved grandson Paul.
Having spent their entire
careers in the funeral business,
Les and Pam have a lot of
experience in dealing with
death. But nothing could
prepare them for the horror
of laying their adored Paul to
rest. Their grief is overwhelming,
and both turn to unhealthy
solutions to help them cope…
“Les has totally shut down
– he doesn’t want to deal with
this at all,” sighs our EastEnders
insider. “He thinks that if he goes
about things in a businesslike
fashion, he’ll at least be strong
for Pam. Her trauma is almost as
painful for him as losing Paul.”
The trouble is, Pam isn’t
taking much solace from Les’
efforts to be professional when
it comes to the funeral. She’s
going through so many emotions
– including anger, shock and
denial – that seeing Les go about
his business makes her furious.
She feels outraged that he’d
even consider treating Paul’s
funeral in the way he would any
normal booking, but finds it
hard to articulate how she feels.
SPEECH AT THE
WAKE IS JUST
IN THE FACE
It’s lucky, then, that Pam’s
sister Mim makes the effort to
come to Walford to help the
pair say goodbye. She’s deeply
concerned for Pam, and for Les
as well. However, she’s glad to
be there when Pam finally starts
to open up and express her
feelings about Les treating her
like a customer. Together, Mim
and Les persuade Pam that she
needs to go to Paul in the chapel
and say goodbye on her own.
Visiting her grandson is an
almost unimaginable ordeal for
Pam to face – she knows that
when she sees his body, she’ll
have to accept that he’s gone.
But, mustering all her courage,
she goes in and cradles Paul’s
head, telling him how much
she loves him and finally giving
in to the weight of her grief.
Once Pam is done, the
funeral commences, and Paul’s
loved ones come to honour his
memory. Once the service is
over, the Cokers return to the
Vic, where they are surrounded
by friends who are determined
to get them through the day.
“Les takes charge again and
makes a speech about Paul,”
shares our sneak. “But instead
of doing Paul proud, he makes
Pam furious again. What he
says doesn’t begin to convey
who Paul was and why they
loved him so much. All the
emotions they’re feeling are
totally absent, and Pam can’t
believe it. She feels like this is
just another slap in the face.”
Can the Cokers find a way
to heal their rift and move on?
Our Christine dream!
MIGHT PAM AND HER HUBBY’S ALTER EGO BECOME FRIENDS?

Paul’s death, and we’re just

From Pam’s murder secret
to the revelation about Les’

Cokers have been wonderful

Lee was a suspect

He’s the latest character to

waving goodbye to Walford!
Mick and Linda’s eldest
son is the latest character to
leave the soap following the
appointment of new boss
Sean O’Connor – who is in the
process of crafting some huge
new plots for the Square…
“Danny-Boy Hatchard [who
plays Lee] has been a great
addition to the cast and we
wish him all the best for the
future,” says an EastEnders
spokesperson. “This was a
tough decision for bosses
– but sometimes to create
big storylines, characters

BOSSES - BUT

Soldier boy Lee raised
eyebrows when he joined the
Carters in 2014 and had a fling
with doomed Lucy Beale. He
later settled down with Whitney,
but has since been kicked out
of the Army and has recently
been battling depression.
But there have been happy
times, as Lee and Whit’s
relationship managed to last
despite his one-night stand
with Abi. The couple are
planning their wedding while
also preparing to welcome their
first child – but with Lee on
his way out, what drama will
inevitably tear them apart?
“Danny-Boy is an extremely
dedicated and versatile actor,
as well as a hugely popular
member of the cast,” explains
the show’s spokesperson.
“But with the story the bosses
want to play, it takes Lee to
the end of his time in Walford.
“As he is part of the Carter
family, no one should rule out a
return,” adds the spokesperson.
“Danny-Boy has openly said
that he only ever had a threeyear plan [with EastEnders],
so although his departure has
come a little sooner, no one
has any doubt that he is bound
to land a big role very soon.”
No furthers details have been

the Beale house with his ex co-star

Star Aaron teased fans with

The actor was one of the Square’s longestserving supporting artists, having played

“Michael Leader was a man who made
EastEnders more than just a TV show,”
tweeted Ted Reilly, who plays Johnny.

The shock of discovering his

is music to the ears of jealous
Pierce, who despises Paddy for

But he’s the only one hoping

For Rhona, it’s much more

S S RED!
She’s looking for her own identity…
avid is shocked
when Tracy makes
a bold new fashion
statement this week
– sporting bright red hair.
Her dramatic makeover
comes as she tries to establish
herself as vastly different from
sister Vanessa, whose blonde
hair is similar to Tracy’s barnet.
She struggles with her emotions
as her birthday approaches,
and her pain over dad Frank’s
favouritism towards Vanessa
continues to hurt her deeply –
an attitude that hasn’t played
well with Vanessa, either.
“Vanessa didn’t think Frank
could sink any lower in her
estimation, but his treatment
of Tracy has been horrible,”
says our source. “She’s trying
to find a way to get on with her
sister, but it’s not easy because
of their clash of personalities.
However, they have both been
massively let down by Frank.”
What Tracy doesn’t know is
that Vanessa has been working
hard to do something special
for her birthday. Along with
David, she organises a 90sthemed party for Tracy – who
can’t believe her loved ones
have gone to so much trouble.
It even momentarily thaws the
sisters’ chilly relationship.
“Tracy is genuinely touched
that Vanessa would do this for
her,” reveals our spy. “It shows

that it matters to her that she

Soon Vanessa and Tracy are

that they’ll never be able to be
friends. But it’s clear that what
Tracy has been through means
something to Vanessa, because
when she picks up Frank from
the hospital, she agrees to let
him stay on the condition that
he puts in an effort with Tracy.
But as Tracy makes a change
to her image, will she even get

However, the hairdresser is as

up every word of his story!
The Platts have been wary
of David’s behaviour ever since
Kylie’s tragic death, and no one

a sigh of relief when he assures
her that he’s determined to try

EMMERDALE | ITV Tuesday
There’s a shock

Bill Ward isn’t
as we are…
held a cand
ames may have announced his
engagement to Emma, but we
can’t help believing he’s made
a terrible mistake. Time and
again Emma has proved herself
a certified crackpot, a woman
scorned who’ll stop at nothing
to win back her man. James is fully aware
that she’s a bit crazy – so it’s pretty risky
of him to get hot and steamy in the back of
a Barton cab with his former sister-in-law
Moira this week! As we join Bill Ward, who
plays James, for a chat about this shock
development, he reckons that James’ feelings
for the two ladies in his life are genuine…
“Oh, James is aware that life with
Emma comes at a price!” laughs the
49-year-old actor. “He knows that Emma
has her foibles, but he loves her despite
and because of them. She’s a strong woman
and always knows what she wants. He’s
been attracted to her all along, and she
is the mother of three of his children.”
When James locks lips with Moira,
however, it’s pretty clear that Emma is not
the only woman for him. We know the
pair have a past, and that their son Adam
was conceived after Moira cheated on her
late husband John with James. In recent
weeks, the friendship has blossomed again
following Moira’s split from second hubby
Cain – and James has been her rock.
“James’ relationship with Emma has
been going really well, actually – but he has
been a true friend to Moira, too,” shares
Bill. “His feelings for Moira have kind of
crept up on him while he’s simply been
trying to support her. But he’s always held
this candle for her – he may have snuffed

attractive and admires her even keel.”
The pair end up getting passionate while
heading to a meeting to discuss James selling
his share of Wiley’s Farm to Moira. Their
journey is interrupted when they stop to
rescue a donkey that’s wandered on to
the road – and after Moira gets emotional

about everyone leaving her, and James
once again offers her a shoulder to lean
on, she moves in for a kiss…
“James doesn’t back off when Moira
makes a move – he’s living in the moment!”
insists Bill. “It’s a long kiss. Things get pretty
heavy in the back of that car, although
everything stops before it gets too steamy.
Moira’s bra does come off – she keeps her
dress on, but he gets her bra off! How that
happens, I’ve got no idea. It’s like some sort
of a Krypton Factor origami challenge!”
With James’ son Ross due to find Moira’s
bra in the car the next day, there’s a very
real danger that James and Moira will end
up in hot water. However, James shows
no fear when he bravely declares to Moira
that he loves her – leaving the soon-to-bedivorced woman in a quandary. That’s
nothing compared to what will be in store
if Emma hears about it, though…
“James is basically terrified
that Emma will find out!” laughs
Bill. “He doesn’t really believe
that she will – but then Ross finds
Moira’s bra and puts two and two
together about who’s been in the taxi.
Of course, James is desperate for him
to keep quiet. Who knows if he will?”
While the prospect of a showdown
with scary Emma might not thrill
James, Bill is enjoying this story. And
he admits he had a lot of fun sharing
the screen with the other star of these
steamy scenes – that pesky donkey!
“There was actually more than one
of them,” grins the star. “Donkeys never
stay where you place them in front of
the cameras – they’re donkeys, they go
where they like! It was all good fun and
kind of unusual, as I’ve not filmed with
donkeys before. But they were cool!”

Hollyoaks has ever seen! But here at Inside
Soap, we can’t wait to see what kind of
trouble they cause next – and as we sit down
for a chat with stars Jamie Lomas and Anna
Passey, aka Warren and Sienna, they tell us
what’s coming up for the dreadful duo…
Hi, Anna! How on earth would Sienna
cope if she knew that her daughter
Nico was the one who’d killed Patrick?
Anna I don’t know! She’s been so fixated
on Maxine and Darren that she’s never
even noticed the murderer under her roof.
Nico is a total nightmare, but you can’t
help feeling sorry for her at times – and
I don’t think Sienna could compute that
this little dot of a person killed Patrick.
Would Sienna be prepared to turn her
own flesh and blood over to the police?
Anna She only ever wants to protect
Nico, but this might be the one thing she
“THERE WAS A
couldn’t forgive her for – Patrick was
Sienna’s dad, after all. They had a bonkers
relationship, but she loved him more than
anything and is at a real loss without him.
So basically, you’ll have to wait and see!
If you go down to the
woods today… you might
find Patrick’s body!
Jamie, this is a lot for Warren to get
involved in. Does it prove that his
feelings for Sienna are genuine?
Jamie Yeah I think so. Sienna caught his
eye because there’s something mysterious
about her, and he likes that dark side.
There was a twisted instant attraction
between the two of them that he wanted
to explore, and that’s the only reason
he hasn’t left the village far behind.
Anna Warren came along at a time when
Sienna had no one and was really desperate.
Even though he’s a badass character, he
has a protective side – I think that’s why he
can’t leave her. And if Maxine turns out to
be knocked up, he’s well and truly stuck!
If she does, and Warren turns out to be
the father of Maxine’s baby, can you see
him and Sienna fighting for custody?
Jamie Can you imagine that? A serial killer
would have nothing on a child brought up
by those two! But no, Warren has learned
from all the mistakes he made with his son
Joel, and would love to be given a second
chance as a dad – he’d want to do right by
the baby. He’s confident in his relationship
with Sienna, but he’d also want to be there
for Maxine and help her through this.
Are you pleased about Joel
making a return to the village?
Jamie Yes, I’ve had a few scenes with
Rory [Douglas-Speed, who plays Joel], and
he’s a really nice guy. We’ve been told
that we have some great stuff coming up.
And Joel is a priest now! That’s funny,
but I think it’s also quite clever because
Warren feels semi-responsible for that
and wonders if his past has made Joel
choose that. Their relationship is fractured,
and Warren has a lot of making up to do.
Can you both tell us what’s coming
up for Warren and Sienna?
Anna Well, they spend half the time fighting
and trying to boss each other around, but
the rest of the time they get on very well!
A lot rests on this week, because Warren
may very well have a baby to consider, and
Sienna has to work out what to do with
Nico. Things could go in different directions.
Jamie As well as that, Darren and Nancy
are beginning to sow some seeds of doubt.
They fill Warren in on the backstory between
Patrick and Sienna, and while he doesn’t
believe them at first, he gets the truth
out of Sienna and she admits that she was
prepared to help Patrick die. Then he does
start to wonder whether she might have
killed him, so there’s a certain uncertainty
there. Who knows what will happen…
ANNA’S FORMER SCREEN TWIN IS
ON THIS YEAR’S STRICTLY BILL…
Perhaps things would have turned
out differently had Nico’s dad Dodger
stuck around to keep an eye on his
daughter – but the hunky fella isn’t
available to sort out the mess!
That’s because actor Danny Mac,
who played Dodger, is competing in
this year’s Strictly Come Dancing. And
Anna tells us that she can’t wait to see
how her one-time cast mate fares…
“It’ll be fantastic!” she beams.
“Danny is a great little dancer, and
I think he’ll do very well. I’ll definitely
be going down to support him.”
Danny isn’t the first soap star to woo
the Strictly judges, and certainly won’t
be the last. So could Anna be the next
Hollyoaks actor to hit the dance floor?
“I’m not sure whether I should be
allowed to be myself on television,”
she laughs. “It might not be a good
thing! I’ll just see how Danny gets on.”

and then Todd lands on Billy’s doorstep
with his bags, ready to move in. That’s
not the full story, however, because two
massive rows shake their romance to the
core, and give both men pause for thought.
Sure, they share a lot of chemistry – but
is this a pairing that’s built to last?
“Billy feels that immediate rush of
infatuation that you can experience at the

Daniel Brocklebank, who plays the lovedup vicar. “He feels as if it’s moving towards
love. But there’s a lot of lust going on!”
Sparks have been flying for weeks now,
so it may come as a surprise to find out
that Billy and Todd have so far been taking
things slowly in the bedroom department.
“This is very much coming from Billy,”
reveals Daniel. “I think Todd would have
done the deed on the first date if he had his
own way, and it’s not for a lack of trying!
But Billy has a strong moral compass, it’s
got nothing to do with the fact he’s a vicar.
It’s just Billy thinks it’ll be worth the wait.”
However, it seems the time for intimacy

things go awry
“Billy’s made up, and it feels like the
moment is right!” grins Daniel. “But then
Todd says he was worried Billy wouldn’t be
up for this because he thought he’d still be
‘under the bishop’s petticoats’. That annoys
Billy, so he pulls back. They have a fight
and Todd storms out – leaving Billy to pay!”
This is textbook Todd, but it comes as
a shock to Billy, who is devastated by the
way that things have turned out.
“Billy is gutted because he thinks he may
have overreacted,” explains Daniel. “So he
goes straight to his friend Eva. He says he’s
ruined the best thing that’s ever happened
to him, but Eva tells him to calm down.”
As it happens, it doesn’t take long to
mend this rift, as a big bust-up at home sees
Todd kicked out of Eileen’s. That’s when
he rocks up at Billy’s and asks to move in.
“It isn’t good because Billy knows the
bishop’s stance against him living with
ssomebody,” shares Daniel. “He tells Todd
tthat he can stay for a few nights, although
tthat’s where it ends. Todd doesn’t like
tthat because he likes getting his own way.
Todd also really can’t get his head round
why a gay man in 2016 can’t live with his
boyfriend. But Billy’s job has parameters,
and he has to stick to them.”
It looks as if there will be plenty more
rows in Todd and Billy’s future, but Daniel
still believes this is a relationship with great
potential. In fact, he thinks it could be
serious enough to change Billy’s whole life.
“The relationship is still in its early
stages,” he says. “But given time to think
and weigh things up, I could see that Billy
may consider leaving the church if Todd
asked him to. Although that doesn’t
mean that he’d be losing his religion!”
TWISTED PHELAN MANAGES to wreck
Eileen’s relationship with Todd this week,
when a massive argument sees the
angry mother chuck out her own son.
Todd sets his eyes to roll after hearing
that Phelan has made Eileen ‘concepts
executive’ of his new development,
correctly realising that this gesture is just
a ruse to keep her out of Phelan’s hair.
Although Eileen is overjoyed at getting
this seemingly pivotal role, it’s really the

design shows across the country – while
he is left to swindle Jason’s inheritance.

For many years there were two famous brothers in

part in any more. “I love everything that my mum does,” shares the
actress. “She writes brilliant dialogue and great characters, especially
strong women. But I’ve been in her stuff, and I made a conscious decision
that I wasn’t going to do any more. I made it as an actress in my own
right, and I didn’t want anyone thinking that I just did her shows.”

(RONNIE) & REALITY TV STAR CALUM BEST
It wasn’t until several years ago that Albert Square’s
Samantha realised she was related to model and
reality television personality Calum, whose father
was footballing sensation George Best. “Calum’s my
cousin,” explains Samantha. “We didn’t discover we
were related until a few years ago, when my dad was
looking into his background and realised his father was
also Angie Best’s [George’s one-time wife] father. I’ve
met Calum a few times and we text each other. He is
a lovely young man, and I am really proud of him.”

winners Girls Aloud,
Amy was delighted for her older sister.
However, she wasn’t
the only Walsh dreaming of stardom, as
29-year-old Amy was a born performer, too. That meant that
their family home – which was also shared by siblings Sally, 37,
d Adam – was full of drama. Spare a thought for
their mum! “It was a pretty chaotic house,” admits Amy. “We
would make up
p shows in our living room. We have three cousins
a similar age, and when we were all together it was like the von
Trapp family. E
ry day there would be a different show!
Two of the BBC's most popular dramas
have been sharing this father-anddaughter duo. Karl has been playing
Andrew 'Buster' Briggs in EastEnders,
while Chloe recently filmed her last
scenes as Casualty's troubled nurse Rita
Freeman. Chloe’s first TV role was as a
child in her dad’s smash-hit 80s sitcom
Brush Strokes. However, Chloe has already
vetoed another suggested collaboration.
“My husband jokes that me and my
dad should do Celebrity Big Brother!” she
laughs. “I love my dad, but it would be
the first CBB murder. If we were stuck in
that house, we’d both go over the edge!”
